Nature Park Biokovo<\/strong><\/p>\n Biokovo<\/strong>\u00a0is the largest and highest mountain in\u00a0Dalmatia<\/strong>. It rises vertically from the\u00a0Adriatic Coast<\/strong>\u00a0to height of 1762 m.\u00a0Because of it\u2019s geographical position, Biokovo is a mountain that has continental as well as Mediterranean climate, so various plant species of both worlds meet and live next to each other.<\/p>\n Spectacular view from the mountain will take your breath away \u2013 on the clear day one can see all Dalmatian islands as well as large part of Dalmatian coast to the south, and to the north, towns of\u00a0Vrgorac\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Imotski\u00a0<\/strong>and their surrounding villages.<\/p>\n The weather conditions can change in a moment, no surface water is to be found and any deviation from the marked trail entails some risk.
